Round the Mountain Track

I am heading back to Tongariro National Park tomorrow.  The mission for tomorrow (weather dependent) is the Round the Mountain track.  It is purported to be a fairly rough 43.5 mile trail described on this website.  The start will be predawn, and the finish will be post sunset.  I reckon the sunrise will not be as dramatic as on the northern circuit (photo), but I am hopeful that sunset will be flanked by two volcanoes, which I look forward to.  You can follow my progress through my SPOT page.  Pictures should follow early next week.
